Review summary
This ship had recently been dry docked and three new places were added but the ship itself was very tired and old-fashioned looking ( dark purple throughout) our cabin location was very noisy it was located in the area behind the guest services desk which we thought would be quiet but there was a bar right there in front of it that was playing loud music till midnight every night. ( which also made it very hard for the attendance to speak with you at the desk they were always having to yell ) the food in my opinion was very poor and the Selections in the buffet area where the same everyday. At dinner there was a lot of pushing of special bottles of wine and shots of liquor and picture taking while you were trying to eat your dinner. The best part of the cruise was getting off the ports especially Turks and Caicos wich was beautiful. The one thing that really disappointed me is that I won the best prize $100 gift that I was supposed to receive from the jewelry shopping show that they were personally shopping for me and I was to pick up the gift the evening of the Nassau day. The gift was so poor I actually left it with guest services it was two T-shirts size small in an ugly grey print, a rum cake that had no outer plastic casing on it that look like it was in his show for two years, and a free gift Rock bracelet that was strung with elastic ( like a free gift you would get for buying something in a little box ) and a pair of socks, all in an ugly tote bag! Guest Services thought the same and they were to get in touch with Jason who was the person on the ship who conducts the show for the ship that was supposed to give me this lovely gift worth $100 and I never heard back from him or received any other gift for replacement.
