Review summary

The only great part of the cruise was receiving cookies, free drinks and a bottle of wine from the Carnival Casino. The food wasn't great. I had an incident where I had to send my steak back three times. So I lost faith in the food. I've been on other Carnival ships and the food was excellent. Also, we had sign up for early boarding. Due to the Sensation picking up refuges, the boarding was extremely backed up. Customer Service was horrible through this process. We had to find food at the port which was a distance on 09/17/16. The trip to Carnival's island should have been avoided. In my opinion, it was a waste of time. We could've spent more time in Nassau or Grand Turks. In reference to housekeeping, we had to keep asking for face/bath towels. The two (2) bright spots of the trip was the service from Ramona from Romania and our head waiter for dinner (Sarge).

 

Due to the service, I wouldn't recommend this trip sailing from Miami. The experience wasn't great! I feel that I should be given a refund. We had applied for special services to debark from the ship due to my knee surgery. In order to avoid missing our limo we had to join everyone else and the process through customs was slow.

 

I'm not a happy camper. I'll probably report this trip to the "Better Bureau" or directly to your corporate office.

Lol sure they will give you your money back because you needed off the ship first. You're not special...get a wheelchair and sit through the line like everyone else.

I have been on numerous cruises some great and some really great and the worst one we went on was on Royal Caribbean and it was by far the most expensive cruise domt give up on Carnival they are making great strides to improve the cruising experience

What do you expect from Carnival it's one of the cheapest cruise ships and you get what you pay for it if you want apples pay for apples stop complaining here at carnival we love everybody

Sorry you had such a bad time. But i guess thats why i cruise for the relaxing and sights, not the service itslef. Call them directly! I had an issue in 2014 on the Esctasy and I called, within in minutes I had a suitable resolution. They were awesome!

What do you mean about picking up migrants? Since when does a cruise ship allow non paying passengers aboard? Maybe I'm naïve, have cruised a lot but never heard this.

Don't expect a response anytime soon. I believe the last time I received a response to an issue, it was over three months after contacting them, via THEIR survey. By the time I was contacted, I couldn't provide any of the details that their rep thought I should have. You might try contacting them through their F B page.

I understand everyone has their own opinions but disliking Half Moon Cay??? I just don't understand that one.

I totally agree with everything u wrote, I was on the same cruise as you the same time the sensation  17th-22nd i was very frustrated we were delayed for them picking up migrants. We were a group of 13 and had small kids and service was horrible.. We wrote a letter to carnival cruise line a week ago, still no response yet...

I do have to agree with her about the food on the Sensation. Went in December. 3 weeks ago I went on the Glory. What a difference! Food was so much better!
