Review summary

I was sick the entire trip, the boat was so rocky i was actually walking into the walls. Often times when eating, the food was hard from sitting out so long.

The last night their a tray of plates actually fell on the lady next to us. This was my first and last cruise.

You get patches from your do to to put on for motion sickness just in case. We just got off the Sunshine this morning. There were times you could feel it but it wasn't bad. I have been on much worse! We had a wonderful time!!

Where was it to? Was it to Ocho Rios and grand Cayman? If so I didn't have a problem. It was my first cruise. I absolutely loved it.

It's the season you cruise too. We cruise in mid July and haven't had any issues with a rocking boat. *fingers crossed*

@mikedebb I guest your right. Didn't think of like that. I had an horrible experience on Carnival which was my second time cruising. My first cruise was RCCL and that was superb.

Oh no the ship is going to rock on my upcoming cruise too?? What???

ndbblessed    8 years ago

Where was your room?

Carnival has bigger ships. I've been mainly on the bigger ship and never had an issue. Didn't Royal Caribbean just have a issue with rough seas with people getting sick? You can't control the seas.

stephenr635    8 years ago

I've been on the smallest of Carnival's and also the largest. And we had some rough seas on both cruises. And both ships rocked during them.

floydwonder6    8 years ago

@tntgreen NO! But they ship's are more sturdy!! It's a difference in the size of ship and if you go on a small older ship you will feel the rocking and the anchor. I have been on carnival and rccl. Its a huge difference.

Haha funny theres no cruise line that have non rocking boats!

debbmike    8 years ago

Haha I was also wondering which cruiseline has ships that never rock.

TNTGreen    8 years ago

@floydwonder6 another cruise line can control the seas?

blessedallday303    8 years ago

Thats right Davethesailor we cannot control the sea and that is not the boats fault! Us cruisers should be aware of that when cruising that we can be in rough seas its a boat and it floats!

Cruising is wonderful. Dont let this one bad experience get you down.

davethesailor    8 years ago

You cannot control the sea. If it is rough, take something for motion sickness with you. Food can be hotter most times, but I just look past it. I would not consider these things as a deal breaker. Think back on the positives. There had to be some.

Try another cruise line.
