Review summary

I had been on this ship before and had a great time. This time the food was good on the Lido deck but the dinning room food was horrible. The dining room staff were wonderful. The wait staff on the lido deck were not as pleasant and one was pretty rude but overall they were all good at their jobs. The windows on the ship were very nasty. I have taken several Carnival cruises and this trip has not changed my opinion of them I just won't go on the Sensation again.

Windows could have been cleaner.

You don't have to buy a cup if you don't want to but like said the Carnival cuo use to be included in the soda package it is not anymore

we went on the sensation a month ago and the Windows were dirty but they were cleaning them when we ported. we did the soda cards and didn't have to buy a cup???

My husband and I were not at all happy with the food at all on the sensation. The lunch buffet was the same thing every single day . the staff was not polite in the buffet area at all . we purchased the soda cards and then had to pay another $5.00 for the cup to put the soda In , the cup use to be included , that alone made us unhappy . the bar staff will not wait on you if they see your soda cuo in your hand or a sod sticker on your cup untill every other person at the bat has been served , this is not acceptable to us and believe you me the service desk got an ear full for it . the cabin boy was amazing and super friendly and polite , he did a great job with our cabin . over all the ship is really showing its age and the ship is really cut up as you cannot walk complete around one deck on the outside . the windows were very dirty that's for sure .

The windows were a little nasty. Ironically there was a window cleaner when we docked in Freeport. And the dinning room food progressively got worse each night.

It is one of their older ships so perfection is hard to come by.
