I would definitely book Carnival Radiance again in the future. Why? Because that ship docks behind Queen Mary! Other cruise ships you have to go to San Pedro/Terminal Island. At least Carnival Radiance is located at an iconic area in Long Beach, which is more touristy than San Pedro. Next time if I ride the Radiance, I'm gonna book the package that have a roundtrip from Long Beach to Ensenada & Catalina & back. Overall, great cruise. Will definitely ride again!!!

Excellent food, especially their dinner service. Their dinner service very organized in terms of rescheduling your meal time in case if you missed the assigned dinner schedule. Buffet is good, but minor problems are the drink fountains not flow too fast & therefore easily created long wait lines for getting the fountain drinks.

I like the arcade & the mini golf place. Swimming pool tends to be very crowded though... Super crowded... I also like the casino & the mini shopping malls.

Best room server was Dewa (aka. "D"). He did our rooms well, especially providing us new towels & immediate changing of new bed sheets & he communicate well with us.
For the dinner service, our waiter Carlos is an excellent bro!!! Connect with us well, he even served us as an excellent photographer for our dinner!

Ship overall, very clean, & well taken care of. Buffet dining area can have a tendency to get run down on the other hand due to overcrowdedness. BUT, have to say, the servers did WELL in immediate cleanup to maintain the niceness of the buffet dining table.

Very clean, despite small it's very organized! I would definitely book this room again if I ride Carnival Radiance in the future (this time for more intermediate & advance level cruising such as a 3 nighter or a 5 nighter trip).
Ship tip
1st Time Cruise Riders should book a short 2 nighter cruise ride from Carnival Radiance to get a feel before deciding to add more at sea days.
Not much to see in Ensenada... Would be great if Ensenada be like other known Mexican Cities like Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, or Cabo San Lucas. Town is a bit run down & is not really that safe for us tourists to explore compared to other Mexican Cities.
