Review summary

I would cruise with Carnival again, just not on this ship.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was effortless when we arrived and were checked in and then let on the ship immediately.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The buffets left a lot to be desired, and you needed to go to the specialty restaurants to get a great meal.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I spent a lot of time in the spa.

Entertainment

We didn't go to the shows.

Children's Programs

We didn't travel with kids.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The service was okay only compared to other cruises we have been on.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship felt dirty, and our cabin was dusty and had stains that never were attempted to be cleaned the entire 4-days on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin was very small for a balcony cabin, but the cabin needed a good deep cleaning from previous guests.

Ship tip

Many elevators go to places that you cannot to where you need to go. You need to re-enter the elevator, go to a different floor, and walk to a different elevator to get to where you need to go.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
We like Long Beach.

Catalina Island, California

4 out of 5
Catalina was a nice stop and we found a great museum.

Ensenada, Mexico Did not visit port

We didn't like Ensenada when we were there in December, so we stayed on the ship.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was easy to disembark.
