Review summary

For our first time this cruise was perfect. It was not too long and it was a lot of fun. Many activities and things to do. I was never bored. I also loved the spa opportunities and demonstrations that were provided by their staff.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was quick and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We only tried the buffet an main specialty restaurants. The food was always good and unlimited.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the shows, the comedy show, the game show, the different artist on board and especially the spa. The kids enjoyed miniature golf, the youth clubs the and the pool.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed all the shows that we attended. I loved that they had Latin music and musicians. Cisco Duran the comedian was hilarious. Definitely became a fan.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
My oldest made friends quickly and participated in many of the activities. My middle child didn't get an opportunity to really play the game systems. He said they did not have enough.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
For the most part everyone was great. I have say or stateroom attendee Eugene was wonderful Grace was an amazing bar tender. I was disappointed in the service of the club. Henry behind the club ignored us for a good portion of the time we were there. Now I understand that we had the Cheers package and I was not paying on the spot for drinks but I still payed and deserved to get the same service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I liked the ship overall, the only thing is that putting the pool area with wet floor right before the dinning was a little tough. We had to worry about slipping every time. However, the cleaners were always on top of things and I never felt disgusted by the bathrooms or any part of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved the cabin!!! It is so hard to find rooms that fit 5 people so this was a win. The beds were very comfortable. Yes the room is tight but the point is to be outside of the room as much as possible.

Ship tip

Make sure you go to bed early the days before the port stops because you want to enjoy as much as you can on those stops. We drank too much on the first day so we had to sleep in and didn't have as much time as we wanted on Catalina Island. Also, the night before Ensenada. I would leave the partying and drinking for mainly the day before being out at sea.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
This was just the place we used to get on the boat. It was clean and efficient.

Catalina Island, California

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the beach and the view. Catalina Island is expensive.

Ensenada, Mexico

4 out of 5
I was excited to visit Mexico for the first time. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time at this port we had to rush to get some shopping done. We did not do any excursions. The only thing that I could do without is the people being so constant and persistent to sell. At the line when we were boarding the shuttle to get to the boat there were kids asking us to buy things and even asking for food.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I was so happy with the way this went. We were able to leave our luggage outside of our room and leave after breakfast.
