Review summary

Love traveling and this was our first cruise! Less jetlag everything was convient on the ship & there was so much entertainment happening all over the ship. Loved the gym working out and watching the ocean was Beautiful! Mini golf was fun, dancing, shows, so much to do & wide variety of food throughout the ship. The temperature inside the ship was completely comfortable and the outside was not bad at all. Just at night wear a jacket as it does get cold. Watching the seagulls at night from our room was pretty cool....we even saw a pod of dolphins. Definitely will do another cruise but Never Again to Ensenda!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great job to the "Fun" staff, they made entertainment truly memorable. Especially the Love and Marriage was by far the entertainment. Dino was funny the first night. Although I feel the Family show should Not Be there. Really kills the Vibe of the entertainer & I personally don't think children should be hanging out in "the adult" areas.....including the bar!

Service and Staff

Homer made dining fun and entertaining! We Loved Homer!!! Trevor was very informative and made our first cruise so much better by answering all of our questions. Also Kudos to tbe staff from always coming back to well kept room to the consistancy of ensuring that every level of the deck was maintained throughout the day. The ship was always debri free & well maintained.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The only downfall would be having to go up/down a level to get our seating for dinner time. HUB App was easy and convenient to use.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Trevor did an impeccable job at maintaining the cabin! Our bed was always made, fresh linens, and he even made sure we had an extra towel daily for my husband.

Ship tip

Make sure to pay vlose attention to what they are saying when you are getting off the cruise. Especially if you don't purchase an excursion. To get off the ship and take another boat across in the Morning was chaos. We had to get the ticket from the Lido deck & didn't get informed about having to go to the bottom of ship. Take your room card every where...including off the ship as this is what let's them know who you are to reboard.

Glad we rented a golf cart to enjoy more of the island! Food and people are great there but shops open after 10 am.

Ensenada, Mexico

Every place was Amazing except Ensenda! They tried to charge us $10 American dollars a beer and tried overcharging the Food!!! They have Tourist Prices. BECAREFUL EATING IN MEXICO DUE TO PRICE GAUGING CROOKS!!! Vendors were great but the Restaurants are crooked thieves! They tried charging 4 people $300 American dollars for 1 lobster, rice, and 3 different types of shrimp. FIRST TIME THERE AND NEVER WILL I RETURN!!! THANKS TO THOSE CROOKED PEOPLE FOR RUINING IT FOR MANY! It aslo happened to another group that ended up being on the ship with us. We would definitely do another Cruise just Not to Ensenda! La bufadora was beautiful but needs to renamed after the restuarants La Poofadora! Cause that's happens to your money when they run two separate Menu prices!!

Disembarkation

Fast and easy. Breakfast was ready at 6:30 A.M. and we took out luggage off with us so we got to embark earlier than those that had their luggage taken the night prior.

Great review. Thanks. I hope you enjoy cruises. Many Mexican ports and Caribbean ports like to price up tourists. It’s too bad.

Sounds like a great first cruise. Welcome to the cruise family 🌞. Agree with you 100% that children should not be allowed in any adult area. Seems to be a problem with all cruise lines not enforcing those rules. Hope you book another cruise.
