This was a perfect entry level cruise. The comedian - Eric Blake was great. The show production was disappointing, but mediocre at best.
It was fun to have other entertainmnet too. We went around Christmas time so fun christmas carols etc. There is always something to do.
The cabin is just fine. We opted for one with a nice large window. It was great. The two twin beds they pushed together to make a kind was another storey. They kept coming apart in the middle and made it very uncomfortable. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean, bathrooms functional and worked great.
Food was good too. You wont go hungry!!

Easy relatively stress free embarkation. Good experience. For newbies, could be a little more direction. We had no idea what to do and where to go when we got on the ship.

Lots of food - most of the time. Some of the lunch places were open for a very short time - For example - Guy Fiery's barbecue place. Open only between 12-2:30. Two of those days we were on land (Catalina and Ensanada), That pretty much only gives people one day to sample the lunches. A bit weird.
Dining room had good offereings and spectacular service.
Onboard Activities

Really enjoyed the hot tub in the Serenity area. The pools were too cold for me to swim.
Enjoyed the mini golf area too. I wanted to play the Cornhole, but I only saw one set of boards and it was occupied each time. Perhaps add another one?
Didnt do the basketball court, but it looked good.
Entertainment

Really enjoyed the comedy shows. Eric Blake is amazing. My only complaint is that he was performing in a small space. Not enough space for everyone and many of us had to stand and even standing room was tight. Move him to a larger space. You will probably fill it too.
The disappointing performatnce was the Stage performance. I was hoping for a 'broadway' type production, but what we got was pretty lousy. Not great music and no plot-story line. I was very disappointed.
Other performers were goo.
The dinner performances were great. Very enjoyable.

The staff was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
My only unfortunate event was the first few hours after checking in, my entire jewelry pouch went missing. I hate to blame anyone. I checked back home when I got back just in case I forgot it, but nope. My ENTIRE jewelry pouch was STOLEN from my room. Very disappointing.

OK, so the room was great. I loved the ocean view room and used the window frequently. The only downside was that there were two twin beds pushed together to make a King. This DID NOT work. The beds kept separating and coming apart and without fail, either my husband or I would end up in the gap in the middle making for a very uncomforatble journey. I know twin beds make into kings, but there should be a way to make sure they dont come apart. I mentioned this to our room steward, he said he would fix it, but nothing was done. It was an extremely annoying part of our journey.
Ship tip
Have a larger space for Eric Blake Comedian. We really enjoyed his shows 3 nights out of 4 but had to stand almost each time. Also when you say you will provide a king bed, please do so. Dont make your passengers uncomfortable.
You're notified at booking that it's 2 twins pushed together if you dont want them to come apart, maybe keep them as separate twins next time or dont sleep in the center As far as shows, all of them say to arrive early as they fill up, so a little reading and googling on your part in advance would have prevented that at least now You're prepared for another since every ship and brand has these same issues
