Review summary

This was a nice cruise. It was the busiest cruise I’d been on since the restart. I should have worn a mask, because I came home with Covid. It was fine, just left a sour note to my memory.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had a 10:30 embarkation. It was fast, but it made me nervous when the crowd stopped while going up the ramp. I could tell the ship was going to be full.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good, especially the included food on the lido deck. I was just a little disappointed that I chose a set dining time but was moved to anytime dining. We missed the fun dancing that the dinner crew does in the dining room. We had the sushi on formal night and it was delicious. Such a good deal!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We played mini golf and went on the ropes course. It was fun!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had spa balcony cabins. Can’t go wrong with that! I was afraid I would feel a lot of motion since they are at forward and on deck 10, but it was fine. We even got to see dolphins riding the waves from Catalina!

Ship tip

You can get to the aft dining room and comedy club by going down the aft elevators or walking through the casino and going down the stairs next to the Alchemy bar.

At that time we all tested negative before the cruise. We could have caught it in port. We were packed underwater with a bunch of people for the semi sub ride in Catalina. I didn’t have any symptoms until 2 days after we disembarked, and tested positive 3 days after.

Appreciate your feedback. Sorry it was so crowded, but not surprised with school being our. Glad you mostly enjoyed your cruise!

Sorry to hear that😞 I have a question don’t they test you before boarding the ship?
