Thank you Carnival. Another easy get-a-way for me and my family.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room.... not as expected. specialty restaurants: perfect buffets: kept clean in guidance with covid, but quality of food has diminished since our last cruise

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Would have liked more to do like lifesize jenga or charades or hasbro games on stage. These were prior to covid and I was told were unable to be scheduled due to covid.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Comedy was great; adult game night was great. Not much available for kids/teens. Scheduling of shows conflicted with dinner hours. Could have been planned better

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
Lacked alot

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
This time around, I did not feel a connection with the crew. Over past cruises, my family and I participated in much more, connected on a professional and playful lever with crew, and really felt like we were part of the entertainment. This year's cruise was a bit boring. Lacking.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Considering the Radiance ship was newly renovated, it seemed dated. However, the service staff did a phenomenal job in compliance with covid and keeping it clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Comfortable and clean

Ship tip

Try the dining experiences of the paid restaurants. The Cucina Capitano was a treat. Also, partake in the spa experience. Best treat I have given myself in a long while.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

It's Long Beach.. nuff said.

Catalina Island, California

5 out of 5
Love this place. Easy to rent a boat/hourly rate extra and enjoy the day on the water; or sit at the resort. Shopping here is nice also. A wonderful, "chill" little island.

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
The local flavors of the food and the bargain shopping can't be beat.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Excellent, but elevator access was a burden for those wanting to walk off of the boat with their luggage.
