I’m noticing an improvement when it comes to the food on carnival. It gets better every cruise I do with them. This is my 4th sailing on radiance so I can say I definitely have seen an improvement. Is it as good as RCL? No but it’s getting better. With that said the buffet is still not there I still tell people to skip it and eat at the other food options that are available

Ok it doesn’t compare to RCL. Let’s be honest a voyage class ship is the main competitor to a sunshine class….ya that match isn’t a fare fight. However the crew is very entertaining and the moment you step on board it’s like let the fun begin. It’s hard to explain until you experience it.

Unfortunately on this cruise they were doing a crew turn other show the cast didn’t have the routine down yet. Amazing singers though just the show wasn’t all put together yet. I already know in a couple of weeks it will be back to normal though and I would argue the shows are actually better than the Navigator of the Seas.

Still don’t like the deck 4 layout on how to get to the comedy club. It is what it is though.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was by far my favorite cabin I have every stayed in on a cruise ship. I even have stayed in the aft grand suite but I would take this cabin over the suite any day. First off it’s an ocean view not a suite or a balcony. Because of that it’s cheaper than a balcony yet the floor the cycling windows give the cabin a very airy feeling. Also this cabin is huge basically the size of a suite but the faction of the price. It was just amazing. Take note you need at least 3 people to book this cabin because of its size. It was perfect for us because I was sharing it with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their new baby. I highly recommend this cabin for families and if available jump on it
Ship tip
Be social and have fun. It is a party ship from the moment you walk on to when you walk off.
Try the snorkeling it was alot of fun and a nice surprise at how good it was. It was cold but not bad. If your from ca you won’t think it’s cold but if your from the Caribbean well it’s going to be cold.
