Review summary

I would recommend this cruise to anyone. There is something for everyone on this ship and the ports of call. Be sure to see the comedians, they even have family friendly shows on certain nights/times and 'R' rated shows for the adults!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy. Just be sure to have all your ducks in a row before getting to the port though.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Quality of the food was great in the main dining room, but the portions were very small. Aside from that, the service was excellent. But if you get hungry, there is a 24/7 pizza joint on the Lido deck!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The fitness center was actually much bigger than what I expected. There are 2 pools and multiple hot tubs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedians are not to be missed! Especially Doug Williams! He's so funny, the whole room was cracking up!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Club O2 (ages 15-17) was great! My teens loved the atmosphere where they got to hang out with other kids their own age. The activity director Dustin took great care of the kids and had fun activities (like dodgeball) for them to to. Dustin is an outstanding activities director. He even took the time to write a personal letter about how respectful and great my kids behaved during their time there. Cheers Dustin!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The entire crew were sooooo friendly. They remembered everyone's names after just 1 meeting. They went out of their way to take care of us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The crew was constantly cleaning the ship. The pool and hot tubs were drained every night and refilled with fresh water. Amazing...

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I recommend this cabin for any family. It had a couch and 2 twin beds. They even put in a rollabed in there for us. Lots of room in this one and we had 2 huge windows overlooking the bow of the ship. Great views1

Ship tip

Bring formal wear for the "Elegant" night. It was so fun to dress up for dinner and wander around the ship along with everyone else that was dressed up.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
The port is huge and I'm so glad the parking structure is right across the street from the port.

Catalina Island, California

4 out of 5
Catalina was beautiful to see, but the food and drinks are overpriced. They wanted $6 for a small popsicle...what a gyp!

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
Ensenda was very nice to see and visit, but you have to get a ride everywhere to go for this one. There is nothing within walking distance from the port.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were off the ship within minutes of our Muster station call. Very quick as long as you packed your bags the night before! lol
