Review summary

Quick long weekend getaway for the Sailibration event! We booked this cruise in 2019 when it first was announced. First time sailing out of Long Beach.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Sat in the terminal for 2 hours which wasn't amazing, but otherwise things went smoothly enough.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall, the food was fine. I will say it was not as good as Horizon was last month though. Smaller ship, maybe California supply chain issues as well.

RedFrog Pub

5 out of 5

We love this bar! Such a fun and laid back vibe. Spent our fair share of time here on 2 of the 3 days.

24-Hour Room Service

5 out of 5

We love the wings, quesadilla, & sweet potato fries!

Farenheit 555 Steakhouse

5 out of 5

Amazing service and perfect steaks!

Pizzeria del Capitano

5 out of 5

Try the prosciutto & arugula pizza!

BlueIguana Cantina

5 out of 5

My favorite! Especially the breakfast burritos and arepas. My wife goes for the juevos rancheros.

Guy's Burger Joint

5 out of 5

Best burger & fries at sea!

Big Chicken

4 out of 5

Glad we tried it. Pretty good. Wildly popular!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Good, but lacking vs. the larger Vista-class ships. I was hoping they would have added a few more things during the $200mm renovation.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship itself was spotless but we did have a few questionable issues with the stateroom. The room steward made things right so all was well.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Huge improvement vs. Victory but don't expect Vista-class level.

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
We were truly very surprised by this port! We took a bus downtown from port for only $4 and just walked the streets and had a wonderful experience. People were very friendly and the food was amazing.

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Way quicker & easier and less of a cluster eff than Galveston or Miami!

@kracka we are sailing this Friday in the same room. What was the issue with the room? Want to be prepared, thank you 🥰

Thank you Kracka, we were initially disappointed in such a late boarding time but took advantage of leisurely brunch at Hotel Maya. Will keep this in mind for May cruise and not rush!

Lizbeth - we had a 9:30am boarding window. Strange they would even allow that early. Live & learn... Figured it was too good to be true when I selected it! Overall, very nice terminal though; sure beats Galveston.

Thanks for the review

Could you please elaborate on your embarkation experience? Why the two hour wait? We had an efficient arrival for Panorama last month with a 1:00pm checkin time, sailing Radiance in May.
