Review summary

Because of the cancelation of Catalina, we had only one port of call, so they arranged for us to have more time in port. That was a small but appreciated gesture.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was my second cruise 🛳 in the Era of COVID. And the process for embarkation seemed smooth, but it seemed that it took longer to get the ship ready to accept passengers. This will be a reoccurring theme of the week.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was it's usual high quality, but I have to take points off for an unusually slow service time in the main dining room. So much so that the entree would arrive as the wait staff begins their evening show for the passengers. In all my years 🛳 I have never experienced this.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I already spoke if the lateness of the food, but the staff themselves provided their usual superb service. Likewise for our cabin steward and team.

Cabin / Stateroom

We upgraded to a Captain's Suite and OMG it was spacious and very comfortable. This will spoil us when we go back to just a balcony cabin!

Disembarkation

We got off the boat 🚢 fine, however, they should have held us on the boat until our luggage 🧳 had cleared customs.
