Finally they have cut the portions in the MDR a little bit. I always felt there was too much food going to waste. Quality was great no complaints. Buffets Weren’t missing a thing. We did one night at the steakhouse and had an absolutely excellent dinner.
Onboard Activities

We did spend some time at the pools. They were clean and well-maintained.
Entertainment

Entertainment was just so so. The stage shows we went the first night and opted not to go again. Nothing against them it just wasn’t our kind of music. It was aimed for the younger crowd and I would say this time the crowd was more in the 50 and older range. Odd for Carnival but it was a winter cruise.

Staff was absolutely wonderful you can tell they are glad to be back.

It’s an older ship for sure. But well taken care of clean clean clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great cabin. Clean and being a suite plenty of room.
This was almost too quick. It was cold out that day and our ride wasn’t coming until 930. They had us off the ship by 830. It was a shock. Rather chilly standing out in the cold then since we didn’t exactly dress for it 🥶🤣
Thanks for the review. Funny that you call your cruise a 'wintercruise'. We are going to Iceland with the Carnival Pride and it's going to be cold 🥶
