This cruise included family members. My wife and I had a weird experince that forced us to change room during the trip. Since this cruise was the first for my family members, I chose Carnival Pride to be the entry level for them and if they liked it go on fancier cruise ships. They enjoyed it very much and became their baseline for the future. I love Halfmoon Cay and Grand Turk was nice. Sadly Freeport was not an option as a result of the hurricane damage. Hopefullu next time.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Offered something for everyone. Lots of options and choices onboard.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Popular activities are a constant presence from Trivia game to popular Bingo and ofcourse sales and spa events. Somehow sport activities got a hit! In the OLD days competitions were held fir basketball to ping pong. No longer the case! If you check the activities of the day for sports, all listed at 7 AM free play. Helllloooo Guests would wake up so early to meet other guests on vacation? Reallyyyy? Bizare!
Entertainment

I was surprised that the solo acts around the ship offered better quality sound/music/singing than the main production theatre singers! I do not know if it is just me who felt/heard that. I am really surprised.
Service and Staff

Overall good service with few exceptions. They never delivered room service for two cabins at stated/choosen time. Always earlier! The main dining room waiters were good and provided fun time of dancing for the guests everynight. That was a nice touch.
Ship Quality

Weirdly enough, cleaning of all mirrors in a stateroom seemed optional. 2/4 cleaned even as we get in the room for the first time. This was my experience. I had to do it myself. Hopefully not the case for all guests. Regarding the ship design, it is ok and I heard 2020 the ship will get upgraded.

Ship tip
Few things to think of: you are allowed to bring in 1 bottle per person. Not sure how much cans of soda you can bring in but based on what I heard, 2 x 24 cans. Great spot to park.
Easy to get around. Beaches close by. Nicer beaches around 15 minutes drive. Many resorts to choose from. We chose to stay close. Had used a wheelchair for my Mom.
Shopping is just off the port. Prices at the duty shop here are better than onboard the ship.
Was fast! We choose to carry out our stuff. I was amazed that option to leave right away was very smooth. This was great. Out of the parking in less than 30 minutes!
We were getting prank calls at various times during the night! Few calls same night! Informed security. Customer service offered we move on the second day and we moved on the third night. Could be kids or idiot adult, who knows! Certainly was coming from public areas so to me this means existance of cameras. We never heard back from security but I learned from customer service that they looked at the recordings. That is all they could share! At least the option was available. I am thankful for that.
Interesting what people notice. I will soon go on my 20th cruise and have stayed at numerous hotels and never paid attention to whether they cleaned the mirror or not.
