Review summary

I loved it. I will definitely be sailing with Carnival again. I worried that the crowd would be really young and party a lot, but it was family friendly and not crazy at all.

Embarkation

Long lines, but things moved well.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room was so fun! They were so accommodating, we were able to get a table with new friends during the early seating. The food was wonderful all over the ship, especially at David's. That was a very special treat to celebrate our honeymoon.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We attended a lot of the art shows/lectures/auctions. They were great fun and very informational. We enjoyed Serenity, the fitness centers, and spa. We got excellent massages.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We didn't attend any of the shows, but we really enjoyed the musicians that played in the atrium.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Our room steward, Ferry, was fantastic! If we needed anything, it was there in a jiffy.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It is a lovely ship. I enjoyed the glass art in the stairwells, and how easy it was to get from place to place. Plenty of elevators, stairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Loved the cabin - it was very roomy for a cruise! The balcony was the best. The only thing we didn't like is that we were one floor below the lido deck, and we could hear chairs scraping from early in the morning to late in the evening. but other than that, it was fantastic.

Ship tip

Try David's Steakhouse. It is worth the price for a special meal.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

4 out of 5
It was fine - I'm glad to have a port close enough to home that we don't have to drive.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
Beautiful! The water was gorgeous! No excursion, we just hung out on the beach.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
There wasn't a lot to do in Freeport, but it was nice.

Disembarkation

We got in a bit later than expected, and we were under a time crunch to pick up our daughter. The staff was so accommodating and allowed us off a bit earlier than our scheduled time. We made it in time! Thank you so much!
