Review summary

Had a relaxing time. Surprised of change on ship for platinum cruisers as we found no robes, water or welcome list of what we would receive but received these after going to guest service

The robes is a fleetwide change for being a "greener" cruise line, they are still free by request regardless of VIFP level as of June'16. Before the 2200+ robes needed to be washed every turn around day regardless if the passengers previously in the cabin used them. Now with them being only stocked in cabins by request only those robes need to be laundered. As for the the Welcome letter mine was in the cabin by the time the cabins would normally be ready (1:30) each of my last 3 cruises, can't explain why yours wasn't. The free 1L water bottles are now delivered on your first full day on board not embarkation day this has been the norm for the last year.

Thank you! I thought I had that site memorized but missed it. LOL

dispmom yes everyone gets them but some of the ships make you request them instead of putting them in the cabins. I read that somewhere on Carnivals site.

Do first time cruisers get robes too (balcony room) ??

What change for platinum? Everything appears the same to me. Can't say we've ever received a welcome list. But everything else is the same as always. It's on their website.
