Review summary

I've been on other cruises, this one left a lot to be desired. The boat was in disrepair (not unsafe, but I expected better) trash was left to pile up in smoking areas. The adult only pool and bar closed at 9 pm. Very little info on taxi rates to advertised shopping in Freeport, which was a major hassle. Restaurant food was OK, staff was OK, nothing impressive. My shower backed up one day, I was unable to reach guest services by phone after multiple calls. Finally went down and spoke to them in person, they said they would send someone to check it. No one ever showed up (shower fixed itself 2 hours later). I would not repeat travel with carnival.

Oh my. You had to walk to talk with someone??? Stay on land. Sounds like you wouldn't have been happy with anything!!! Also just because trash was in the smoking area doesn't make it unsafe!!! It's not like most of us smokers are going to start a fire!!!! Wth???

Oh--so sad! I was looking forward to having a shower that fixed itself but disappointed to hear that the problem might have been fixed by a person outside the room!! LOL

Just got off the Pride today. Tiny problem... the fun coupon book I paid 25 dollars for was not delivered until 3 days later. That's the only problem we had. They have x amount of staff for over 2000 people. The only pool kept open late was the Lido deck pool and the a ton of bars and people walking around taking drink orders. As for Freeport taxis the rate is regulated by the Bahamian government.And there is a big sign that tells you the rates by the taxi pick up area. Food was fabulous. And perhaps they were able to fix your issue without going to the room.

3 times on the pride with a 4th one booked, never have had any problems! Actually my favorite out of the ships I've been on!

I loved the pride in July. .can't wait to go back in 2018 It's a beautiful ship..next year I will be going on the conquest

Right!? Imagine how many more people would book cruises if the ships and rooms and showers can fix themselves! There would be alot less complaining !

A shower that fixes itself sounds amazing. Is this feature on all carnival ships or just the pride? They need to put this in their advertising!

I sailed the Pride in February and and thought she was in great shape...my opinion. I'm deffinatly going to sail her again if my shower can fix itself if it breaks lol

We had a similar experience on the Pride 2 yrs ago. I might sail on another carnival ship, never again on the pride. We have found Norwegian to suit our needs quite nicely
