Review summary

Not really happy with the cruise line. Food was good to very good, but buffet set up was sort of unorganized, have to jump around to find what you want to eat even after you have been on cruise for several days. There was a definite lack of movies to watch either in cabin or anywhere else on ship. The shows we saw were fair to OK.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Sit down dining was very good and staff very nice and friendly. Buffet was a different story.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Shows were OK but have seen much better on other cruise lines. The lack of movies to watch if you wished to stay in your state room to relax glared at you. Certain movies at certain times and a very poor choice on top of that.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Buffet lay out poor. Public areas OK but too many smoking areas to suit a non smoker.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5

Pros: Food was good

Cons: Did not enjoy, not enough activities and lack of available movies to watch TV or anywhere else. Cruise staff that ran some of the activities did not engage the passengers during activity.

Recommends Carnival Pride? No.
