You do not want to go to the port from FCO if you're flying in 2 days before. You want to go to Rome from FCO...then from Rome to civitavecchia. 2 days in civitavecchia would be a tragic waste.

Hello!! There are trains from Termini station that go to Civitavecchia. From there you can get a taxi to the port. There are shuttles that go there as well and also the car hire has already been suggested. Good luck!

I used Viator and hired a privare car. It is quite a long drive from Rome. There was 6 of us and it was actually the cheapest way.
