We originally booked this as a trip to Cuba. While we were disappointed we did not get to experience the jewel of the Caribbean, we had a blast. The shore excursions were well planned. The ship's staff and entertainers were more than friendly. I will cruise again.

The restaurant was fun, the service exceptional, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented.
The buffet was plentiful and well prepared. Our group really enjoyed Guy's burgers and the breakfast tacos as well.
The service at the bars was efficient and the drinks superb.
Onboard Activities

I wanted to enjoy the CLUE more but was not clear on how to participate fully.
The pool was always crowded, so not for me but others seemed to really be having fun!

We enjoyed the shows very much. All the shows were well orchestrated, choreographed well, and very entertaining. I was impressed by the depth of feeling elicited by the military appreciation show. Leon did a great job as emcee. Texas Ty was really personable. He answered questions eagerly and provided me with ideas for my next cruise.

Our service team of Ma Richel Campos Beruya, Ariston Berrey Bermudez and Baltazar Compleza became like family! I would come back just to see them! If I could give them six stars, I would.
Faruk, our cabin steward was very pleasant and helpful. Everyone we encountered was delightful and very willing to help.
Ship Quality

It was obvious that the staff takes pride in the ship. It was maintained beautifully. I was impressed that the carpets were shampooed and the railings refinished while we were ashore!
No dust, no dirt! Even the smoke in the casino did not linger.
Once I got the lay out down, it was easy to manuever around the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very, very comfortable! I was skeptical about the beds that folded out of the wall but they were great. The cabin was spotlessly clean. I appreciated the size of the cabin for four adult guests.
Ship tip
Pay attention to the schedule of daily activities. I think we missed things we may have enjoyed. Overall though, just relax and enjoy!
We stayed three days after the cruise in an ABNB in Clearwater. We did a walking tour of Ybor City, rode the free city trolley, enjoyed the Spainish and Cuban heritage of the area and walked the river walk. We also took in a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game before we flew home. I would go back!
Arthur, Kimmy, and Mel were informative and fun. WE swam with Stingrays. It was great timing for us out at Stingray Bay because we were the first boat there. Mel gave us a lot of history about Grand Cayman. He really was a delightful man. I wish we had had more time to explore but it just whetted my desire to return.
Snorkeling was spectacular! Driving the jeep out to Punta Sur was fun. Nacho, our guide was really delightful. The excursion was full yet relaxing. Our tequila tasting was a surprise. Who knew tequila could taste so good! As always in Mexico, the folks trying to sell you something were a little invasive. It won't stop me from going back!
Crowded and not nearly as efficient as boarding. Once we left the ship however, the process went smoothly. It was just the waiting around in the Normandy lounge and then having to go back down to disembark. I think next time, I will just bring a bathing suit in a back pack! Luggage is heavy.
