I felt the same way about the Paradise--even managing our expectations, it was only so-so. While it was nice to be on vacation and there were positives, there were enough negatives to leave me feeling underwhelmed with the experience. The food was often served at cool enough temperatures that I worried about food safety at dinner. The staff seemed spread really thin in both the food venues and bars. The staff worked hard and hustled, but there were still significant waits pretty much everywhere we went. Activities were pretty thin as well and I think it comes down to having enough staff. I feel like it would benefit the staff and cruisers to bring more staff on board.

There sure isn't much to support the 4/10 you say it was.
