Beautiful scenery, loved Havana. No time allowed to shop there tho. We arrived on Monday, when their market is closed. :(

Review summary

Relaxing, quiet.enjoyed the vacation. Just hassled about paying our bill in cash, after having left a credit card on file. We spent our cash in Cuba, and ATMs didn't work. Worried we couldn't get off ship, without hustling cruisers for cash on Lido deck!

First dining room, 3 different waiters told the two of us to sit in the one chair left at a table for 12... Not amused. Didn't know we were expected to being our own chair, or play musical chairs .

Ship tip

Bring cash, cause both Cuba and Carnival expect you to pay off your bill in cash, and not all ATMs work, and you won't have phone service to call your credit it debit card companies!

Loved the '50' cars . But no shopping. We saw every cemetery, tombstone, and monument if every important political figure if Cuba! But no shopping. Second excursion to a dance show at Hotel Naccionale was great.

I have never heard of paying off your ship bill with cash. We have always left any balance at the end of our cruise on our credit card. Unless you signed up to pay with cash and your cash ran out? Is this something new on Paradise?
