Review summary

May 2018: The Paradise has been completely refurbished & looks absolutely awesome!!! The rooms & corridors have been greatly improved & have a nice, comfy, modern feel! The beds have new mattresses that are more comfortable than any other ship we’ve ever been on (May was cruise #17, so we’ve experienced a few!). The cabin steward & staff were EXCELLENT & the wait staff in the dining room was the best ever!! But I’m saving the absolute best for last...the CD, Leon, was by far the best I’ve ever had and it was his first trip as CD!!! He had several things to deal with his first time out: tropical storm and another incident at sea, but he handled it all with grace & superior professionalism! He is so personable & friendly and was always out & about onboard. Every time he saw us, it was like seeing an old friend! The trip was my second on the Paradise, but def not the last...I came home & booked another one (for the exact same room & all) for the beginning of September and cannot wait to go again on this fabulous ship!!!

The ship just came out of dry dock recently & the updated makeover is fantastic!! The new mattresses are the BEST!!!

Fist time on a Carnival Cruise. Can anyone tell me if there is a big difference in WiFi speeds, Social vs. value?

I agree. It was my cruise the week of May 21. Ship was rocky and we had and there was also a incident on board ship. Every one kelp telling me that most cruise you don't even know you are on a ship. The staff did an awesome job of making us feel like we were the only ones on the ship The CD Leon did a great job of. The bed and pillows were so soft. I was told the the deck we were on had just been added back in February.
