A pleasure as always. Great value. Looking forward to sailing on the Paradise again after it's renovation.

Food and Dining

We had breakfast at the buffet (wish it would stay open longer as we sleep late - also, I suggest you clearly mark a line for the omelet station as people who don't want an omelet are unaware that they are standing in the omelet line making it needlessly long.)
Overall the food is good. I do wish there were more choices at the salad bar as that is what I prefer. However, I will admit that I am in the minority on cruise ships so I do understand why it is a lower priority and therefore, haven't let that affect my score very much.
Onboard Activities

We ate in the dining room nightly. We preferred Ariel and his crew. They were the best and made our dining experience a pleasure! The one night we didn't have them was a real let down.
We loved the variety and specials. The menu has certainly improved. Please keep the special Carnival chocolate melting cake... I had it nightly!

Lots of fun! Great crews at the craps table and roulette wheels.

Service and Staff

Wonderful room stewards. My mother forgot to put a gold bracelet in the safe. It was very valuable. She had apparently dropped it on the floor before we left the cabin for the day. We returned later that day to see it neatly placed on the vanity. My mother was so astonished by the honesty of the stewards!
Also, they tidied our cabin twice a day. Turndown service was most appreciated. And the towel animals always bring a smile to our faces!

Cleanliness is A++++++
I took off a star for ship design. We found it confusing. It took a while for us to get the gist of things.
Cabin / Stateroom

Positive:
Clean, VERY comfy beds, good sized window, excellent water pressure and always nice HOT water (thank you!)
Negative:
Needs updating
Have been on the Paradise twice and enjoyed it both times. Last time we went, it was still a totally smoke-free ship, which I loved since I have asthma. I’ve since read that it’s converted back to a smoking ship. I understand that the CruiseLine tries to accommodate all sorts of guests, but it was sure nice to not have breathing issues due to the smoking. Just my preference. Not a criticism, just my personal preference.
