Review summary

Really enjoyed the overall experience and ports of call. The kids club is amazing. The ship could definitely use updating throughout.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were able to board early and relax on deck while waiting for our room. Very easy and quick.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Great choices for the whole family. Only complaint is that sometimes it was hard to determine which foods were dairy free since I am lactose intolerant. The seated dining and buffet were both great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The pools were a little cold. Our daughter loved the kids club and wanted to go for as long as she could every day.

Spa Carnival

4 out of 5

The services we received were good, but overpriced even with the day of departure discounts.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Jason, the solo guitarist was really fantastic. The cruise director was funny and upbeat. The comedy and stage shows were okay.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Our daughter loved it! The staff were all very friendly. I loved that they had everyone wash their hands when they came in. I felt that she was safe and well looked after. And it was great to enjoy some grown up activities with a free babysitters!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Francisco, our steward was very friendly. All the staff I encountered onboard were nice and helpful. They all made an effort to be extra friendly to our daughter.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleanliness was not an issue. Everything was clean and well maintained. It was a little challenging sometimes to make it from one end of the ship to another without going up or down several staircases.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The size was sufficient for our family of 3. Our daughter loved her "bunk bed". The room could use some updates. Everything was outdated and some things were showing significant wear and tear. The tiles in the bathroom could use a good bleaching.

Ship tip

Take advantage of the self-pour beer stations! Best drink value on the ship and it only cost 39 cents per oz.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

5 out of 5
If you come in early or stay late, there are lots of great family activities to do in the Tampa area.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
We went to the Turtle Farm and had a great time. Be warned, you do not have to pay for the pictures they take of you. There are plenty of chances to hold turtles and take your own pictures for free. The port itself is kind of expensive.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed Cozumel. We grabbed a cab and went to Paradise Beach. It was clean, had a great pool, beach with plenty of chairs and palm trees for shade. Probably spent about half as much as an excursion booked through the cruise.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Everything was pretty easy and clearly communicated. Biggest complaint is that we took our luggage off ourselves and there were no working escalators to get our huge suitcase down the stairs.
