Would not book Paradise boat again and will be more picky when choosing A cruise with more kid activities appropriate for his age and for me too.
The excursions made our trip the cruise at self and what it offered… Not great. Not great for families with older kids at all
Embarkation
5 out of 5
First time cruiser and it only took 30 minutes to get onto ship. This was great!! The lunch buffet and party were not great
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Great if you like pirate pizza and ice cream, only things available 24 hours a day . Otherwise you have to wait till specific times for a full buffet to open up but, even then there were just hamburgers hotdogs chicken nuggets and fries. Great for kids but for an adult cruising… Not what I expected
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
One pool....enough said
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Comedy shows are decent and that's about it. I did not think there was enough stuff for adults most things named for families with younger kids or older adults the like bingo in game shows
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
No real kids program for kids over 14. I know this is a tough age but there was nothing for them to do . Pictures of itinerary I could not find anywhere prior to cruise. This would've been helpful for me to decide if the kids program was appropriate for my son. For a younger child this could be cool but, 14-year-old boy does not want build a bear or icebreakers Or theme parties
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Fabulous steward for room!!!! Remember my name and always remember to bring me an ice automatically after I asked it for the first night and refreshed it again during the evenings . Excellent
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Old but very clean. No dust anywhere or sports on carpet, just dated
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Small but nice. Excellent steward makes up for decorating
Ship tip
Advice??
--older dated ship
--not for family with older kids
--teeny tiny pool (and only ONE yep, super crazy)
--not much for entertainment
--excursions...equal AWESOME...best part of our trip
I want to live here!!! Where did the adventure park zip line and snorkeling . OMG... The best time ever!! I was worried it would be some generic zip lining park but no it was tucked into the trees and right off the water. Excellent excellent suburb staff. They walked us through all the safety to do zip lining and repelling off buildings and then after a hot time we went snorkeling. This Totally made our vacation!!! Would do this again and again.
Incredible amount of fish, the worlds clearest teal waters, and sooooooo great!!! My son is 14 and there was another 15 year old and two 5 years old. EVERY ONE WAS AMAZED!! Its a wonderful thing to get teenagers excited about something but also have the Age variance of little kids loving it too...sooooo great!!
Yep the bigger ships are better for teenagers we have 85 days until we leave Australia on our adventure book again on the bigger ships with your family we're sure you will enjoy it ð¹
