Review summary

The favorite part of my trip was being with family. I have been on 7 cruises and this was the worst one that I've ever been on. It was very dusty in my room; and I couldn't play Bingo or go to the casino because of all the heavy smoking. All of the food was cold except for the evening dinner. My sister's birthday was on the 28th and we were promised a bottle of wine which we never got. I would never recommend this cruise to anyone.

If you don't like smoke please do not go to bingo or into the casino.

When Bingo is in the lounges, there is no smoking. Never seen them hold bingo in the Casino.

We were on the Paradise in April/May and did not experience any dust in our room. As for the wine, who promised it. I don't think Carnival promises bottles of wine to everyone. If that was the case then everyone would say they were celebrating something. If you didn't purchase it, then there is no promise. As for the food, we never had any issues with the food being too cold, unless of course it was ice cream, and that is supposed to be cold anyway. As for smoking, the only place where smoking was allowed was in the casino. Yes walking past the casino you could smell it and in the busy periods it would waft out past the borders of the casino, but other than that there wasn't any such odors. Believe it or not when this ship first came out it was a non-smoking ship as proven by the pained over no smoking symbol on the back of the ship.

Oh and forgot to add they actually gave us a colder bottle of champagne in the dining room because ours wasn't fully chilled.

Where was the dust? And who promised you wine? We celebrated our anniversary on our cruise, we purchased champagne and our steward chilled it for us in our room and we brought it to dinner and they were happy to serve it to us and the people we shared the table with

I had a great time the room had some dust just wipe it with the wipes i do it anyway food was good people very nice yes old and small ship but I like a small ship pool needs update but we are going again had a great time

Yes, casino and surrounding area on all ships is very smoky, and can waft up some stairwells at times. Who promised the wine? As for your overall cruise, were those the big issues? Seems sort of small beans to me. (And I don't buy that all the food was cold, sorry.)
