Fabulous cruise. Gourmet food, except for prime rib which was tough.
You get to try snail, rabbit and frogs legs (if U wish) !
A chocolate cake, pastry & sweet extravaganza on the last afternoon!
2 high teas in the piano bar, 2 awesome sea day brunches.
4 main shows, which get better every day viz) Welcome aboard, 80s, Brits & Epic Rock (best).
Also 8 comedy shows. 2 Hasbro game shows. Love and marriage show. 2 movies. Daily karaoke and piano bar. Also a great close up magic show. An open library.
A water slide emptying into a salty swimming pool. Serenity deck with 2 hot tubs.
An excellent teen program, which kept my 17 yr old excited from 9.30 am till 1.45 am daily!
2 champagne art auctions with plenty of prizes just for participating.
Daily trivia with souvenir brass medals for winning.
Guess the song winner got a Steakhouse meal for 2 and a bottle of champagne
Cocktail mixology and hairy chest contests. 2 Rocking Pool deck parties!
The shopping expert gave us a superb tour of the ship on Day 1. We were offered a complimentary Baileys Irish cream coffee by an officer (cos the tour was delayed & we had to wait).
The enrichment lecture (on health) was also very informative.
We got an ice bucket filled every evening (only after requesting) & 3 diff towel animals in our room!
Cruise Director Brandon was awesome. Brandon lent his plastic cup to a naked cruiser, who was debarking wrapped in a Carnival towel. It was hilarious when Brandon removed the towel & said ''Can't take Carnival property (towel) off the ship!''

No one knew our names.
No one greeted us or spoke, except the room steward telling us to vacate the room 3 times on the last morrning.
We got an ice bucket filled every evening (only after requesting) & 3 diff towel animals in our room!
But the silent service was good nevertheless.

Hi, your review of Costa Maya Mexico is the first one that comes up. Sounds like you were able to do a lot. For very little money. I am traveling with a group of 8 people. What you did sound like little something for every one. How close was all this to the port? Was thanking not to book ShoreEx in this port. Could explain more of how you found the places you went to.
Thanks
just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on the chocolate tour it wasn't advertised but l inquired and we had a private tour and it was well worth the $3 dollars! l had a wonderful cruise!
