Review summary

We had a great time, the ship was adequate, rather outdated but with small children is was ok. Cozumel was a great port to visit, the dolphin excursion was a blast but Costa Maya was a waste of time. Its a run down dump. I was not impressed. I did however really enjoy the spa and my kids loved the kidscamp. They had a lot of great activities throughout the day. My kids are 3 and 5 and I felt safe leaving them. They provided us with a cell phone in case they needed to reach us all free of charge. They had a lot of safety measures in place. Not once did I have to worry.

The kids had bunk beds as the room was small but we managed.

Ship tip

Don't expect to spend a lot of time swimming, the pools are small and get overcrowded easily.
