Unforgettable...Sadly

Sail Date: January 05, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Maybe Carnival isn't that bad...maybe. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. However, this ship and everything about this cruise is absolutely awful. Food...cold, mediocre at best. Entertainment...i've seen better in a high school auditorium. Service...subpar. Accommodations...Think Super 8. Pool...liken it to the above ground pools you see in a trailer park. "Hot" tub...well, not hot. Bars....overpriced, under poured. Ports of Call...Grand Cayman was alright. Cozumel...well it is Mexico. Adult Area...not like the pictures. This is a small, outdated ship. You feel every wave in the ocean. Also, if you'd like to watch tv in your room before bed or in the morning, you better like watching the cruise ship channels or cnn...if you even get the cnn channel and you better wear glasses cause the tv is about 13". Save your money and do anything else. I would have rather stayed at a decent hotel in tampa for 5 days.

Ship Quality
old, outdated
Food and Dining
cold, fatty meat, poor selection
Cabin / Stateroom
gross
Service and Staff
Entertainment
seriously. It was terrible. The piano bar guy couldn't carry a tune
Onboard Activities
if you like to drink and gamble
Destinations and Excursions
GC is nice...eat off the boat, it'll be your best meal all week
Tampa, Florida
George Town, Grand Cayman
gotta tender in. don't wait in line. the numbers they give you are meaningless.
Cozumel, Mexico
it's mexico...think, mexico.

Tip

A tip about the ship? Don't get on
