The crew was wonderful. The buffet was not as good as Holland America, in terms of quality or variety.

The pools were too crowded. There were a lot of good activities for kids.

The cruise director was fun and professional. The commedians were especially good, doing new material each night. The song-and-dance shows were ok.

Our waiters and steward were excellent. They immediately learned our names and preferences, and took great care of us.

Ship Quality

The ship is designed to funnel everyone through the 4th floor casino on the way to the entertainment. It's a smoke-filled casino, and very unpleasant to walk through. It discourages me from taking another Carnival cruise.

Cabo has some dangerous areas. We took a ship excursion for camel riding to hav some security. The excursion company aggressively prevented us from taking our own pictures, and wanted to sell us their photos for $70-160. This was not in the brochure. I felt scammed.

Yeah those excursion companies really stick it to you for photos. Just wait till you do a dolphin excursion!
