Service and Staff

Considering the drama and knowing propulsion issues were happening and have been ongoing since roughly day one ,and the odds stacked against you as a team member I was impressed at the patience of the staff ,to know you’re going to have to roll the dice with the possibility of 4000+ frustrated people each voyage is extremely difficult.

Ship tip

It appears that we should obtain an attorney or become degreed agents before boarding according to comments from expert cruisers. to make sure to read the fine print so that we are not surprised at how things end up when booking a vacation aboard a ship. While satisfaction with the crew and the food, accommodation etc. I do believe part of the agreement should be the destination itself shouldn’t it? Aside from weather and Mother Nature of course. None the less please just make sure that you have crossed and dotted everything perfectly as all previous cruisers before you because you and only you are responsible for all facets of Carnival Corporation ships I mean it’s ok that stuff breaks down right? The folks after you will reap the benefits of your floating experience and isn’t that how it should be? Still amazed at how those service representatives handled the angry 24 hr lines from Mon-Sat they earned every cent in tips.

Again it seemed a little confusing for those sailing and those directing. I saw several instances where higher status folks were sent to the wrong places and crew members moved folks to the wrong areas off elevators.

We had friends on that sailing. Their first time cruising. I heard everyone got refunded port fees/taxes and $400 OBC. They still had a great time.

You don’t need a lawyer to understand that cruising does not guarantee you a destination.

Sorry no guarantees, and not everything deserves compensation.

I have been flying commercial airlines for 50+ years and have gotten zero monetary compensation, yet hours of delays and frustration when mechanical problems occur. In the travel world, if you have your heart set to visit a particular destination, get there by other means. Cruising isn't for you since it offers no such guarantee.

I get mother nature but when it comes down to Mechanical problems that's should be on the cruise line but they WILL do every thing NOT to give anything back. Thanks for your review.
