Spending Halloween on a cruise ship was SO much fun!! We loved dressing up in our costumes and seeing everyone else in theirs! People were all stopping each other to get pictures. The Deck party that night was hilarious!! Gerry, the cruise Director, handled it all with ease and finesse!! We saw him everywhere, and he was so gracious with everyone.

We had lunch at Ji Ji Asian Kitchen one day, which was delicious!! Good service too.
Had dinner at the Main Dining Room only two times. It was as expected - pretty good service, pretty good food, yummy desserts (!).
The Buffet was unexpectedly better this time, especially at dinner time. We enjoyed the pumpkin soup one night. The chocolate cakes at the dessert section were awesome!!

We loved the warm cheesy bread they bring out! We both had Caesar salads that were crisp, cold, and refreshing. I got the spaghetti with meatballs. They mixed the Alfredo and red sauce for me, to make it a lighter pink color. Delicious!! My friend ordered the chicken Parmesan, and it was HUGE, but delicious too. My dessert was good: chocolate biscotti.

We sat by the main pool with our feet in the water. Enjoyed the palapa and seats around the pool.

I enjoyed the Ropes Course. We played mini golf, pool, bean bag toss, and ping pong. Great selection of fun stuff. Never long lines/waits for anything.

The blue water slide (the one not with the inner tube) is SO fast and FUN!! I was cracking up laughing, we were going so fast!

“Celestial Strings” is a very cool show.

The cruise director, Gerry, was the BEST!
Our room Steward, Imade, did a great job.
Waiters at Main Dining Room were very good.
Entertainment Team was friendly.
Photographers were a blast too - some of them had the BEST Halloween costumes!!And they offered to snap pictures of us with our own iPhones.

Very nice. First experience with the Cove Balcony. It kind of blocks the wind, having the cove.
Always comfortable beds and linens.
Ship tip
Wear closed toe shoes and at least a short sleeved shirt to go on Ropes Course and Sky Ride.
We took a little glass bottom boat over to see the Lands End, arches, sea lions, and beaches.
Then we met up with our parasailing tour that I had booked in advance with a local company. It was a blast!!! Would totally do that again.
It hasn’t been my favorite port in the past.
But we did a city tour / and Observatory local tour. The Observatory was very interesting. You ride up the side side of a mountain in a cable car type thing. There is an Aviary, cactus gardens, and the Sky Bar. Such good views. We got drinks to cool off. (could have done w/out the city tour)
It was SO cool to be there on Halloween day / close to Dia de Los Muertos celebration. The streets and Malecon were decorated.
We did a walking Taco Tour with a local company. Lots of good food.
