It was a cruise off our bucket list and we do enjoy the journey cruises. Hawaii was nice but have enjoyed other destinations more. Would not cruise again to Hawaii.

The ship decor is just beautiful but it does need some little maintenance things done. Nothing that effected the ships sailing abilities just some makeover.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was clean and well maintained at all times. It was a little crowded with 4 people but it worked.
It is an industrial port and you have to walk quite a way to get to a shopping area. We hired a car and went to the summit but weather was terrible and we couldn't get out of the car up there. Went to a beach area which was nice. The landscape is interesting as it shows lots of lava rock areas where the volcanoes have erupted and lava flowed.
Went to Pearl Harbor and that was really good. It was a very overwhelming experience to read about that morning and all who were lost. Vidited the Dole Pineapple plantation which was interesting and then went to a Luau that night. It was very commercialized which was disappointing. But driving around the scenery is lovely and very lush.
Again we hired a car and found a lovely beach area where we finally got the chance to swim. Again the landscape is lava rock and very lush most of the time.
This was our favorite port. Went to the Farmers Market and then visited Akaka Falls which was really lovely but note that if you have mobility issues then this is not the place to go. We climbed up and down over 600 stairs to get to the falls.
There wasn't a lot to do there unless you booked an excursion so we just shopped and walked the main port shopping area. It was good to see but did not enjoy as much as Cozumel.
Will be doing this journey September 14th out of San Francisco 15 days. Looking forward to it . Thanks for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise
