Review summary

First time cruisers. Enjoyed the experience immensely. We believe everyone should try a cruise. We plan to enjoy more of them and only wish we had started sooner. We believe best option is to at least plan 2 ports of call to get more cultural experience for the value of the trip. We enjoyed both our excursions in Cabo and Ensenada and found that to balance nicely with the quite time found during sea days. We found a wide variety of entertainment to also partake on board the ship, such as Piano bars, listening to live violin trios, auditorium dance and sing shows, trivia time and just generally exploring and learning about the ship. We are already planning our second!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room décor was a little gaudy, but the food was prepared quickly and was usually delicious. Drinks were simply amazing and all staff were extremely attentive and prompt with all and any services. We especially loved Diana in the Lobby Bar and Jaya's fantastic slight of hand tricks while pouring drinks. WOW! On a final note for food, we also participated in the Chef's dinner and enjoyed all the specialties created by the Chef and staff.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the Spa thoroughly and were excited that you had a pre-departure time slot to soak up as much relaxation as possible during boarding process. The wicker cubbies, loungers and bar service in the Serenity Lounge were fabulous and very comfortable to enjoy watch the Ocean while getting used to cruising. We may have even caught a small nap or two. One of our favorite things, was the Dunk Hunt. It encouraged us to explore and fined all the hidden gems on board the vessel. We are very sad we missed out on the towel folding class and will hope to catch that next time. The menagerie of animals in all sorts of posses on the lido deck was both humors and fun to look at all of them.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved Sam's Piano Bar fun with Franco. Dancers for 88 Keys and Heart of Soul were amazing. They never had a misstep even with ship rolls.

Children's Programs

No Kids Bitchez! DOn't hav'em and don't even like'em

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were so impressed with the customer service and friendliness. All staff were quick to greet us and help us with anything needed, from directions, where to find things or just even general information on how activities and excursions proceed. We were particularly impresses with John Paul, our Porter. He kept our room immaculate during our journey. Each day we were returned to our room after service, we found incredible towel creatures greeting our arrival.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was impeccably clean. We saw staff cleaning and sanitizing endlessly. Layout was wonderful. We enjoyed being the 7th floor, just a couple of floors away from main action. There is a nice mix of relaxing lounge areas and activity areas through out the boat. The Bacchus dinning room and the Mad Hatter's auditorium probably could be modernized in décor.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a Premium Balcony Room and really enjoyed it. Bed was comfortable, size was good. Room storage was very cleverly designed to maximize areas to keep luggage and personal belongs well hidden and out of walking areas. See note above regarding John Paul, our Porter.

Ship tip

Get the unlimited drink package and take Dramamine if you are a 1st time cruiser. Go on excursions in ports of call to experience the location and and culture.

Ultimate City tour was a hit! The sampling of shrimp and fish tacos were delicious along with the margaritas and tequila testing. We highly recommend this experience for guests to try.

EPIC! Unbelievably well organized and easy. We loved the use of the luggage tag system to allow us to pick those up once we were back in the terminal. Customs review process was extremely efficient and simple.

My first cruise was on the Miracle. Im finding each ship has its own unique vibe. Makes it hard to say one cruisr is better than another. Try a different ship next cruise.
