Review summary

Miracle and Carnival need an overhaul on this ship.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
EMbarkation at this port was great, Brian (Guest Port Services) and Debbie ( Guest Port Services) were great. Brian has a killer sense of humor and started the cruise off right. After that is when it all fell apart.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main Dining Room staff were great we really enjoyed Rosi and Zaldy's area in the main dining room. Food on Buffet was barely okay, sad when the best thing on the buffet isn't on the buffet, but the sandwiches. Breakfast Buffet never opened on time, and the Lido dining is so broken up it is confusing.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Sad again when the highlight of the activities because the ship is so old and outdated is the Trivia Pursuit during the day.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the shows in the Phantom Theatre, but again it needs an overhaul. Smells and looks old and worn out.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Maria in Customer service needs to be doing anything but customer service, she is horrible. Helene was great and tried everything she could to take care of the Customer service issues and issues with our Suite.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
I can say to the best of what they had to work with the common areas are clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Aft Vista Suite old and tired. mold and chipping paint/vinyl in the suite as well as work and stained carpet and furnishing's. Balcony rusting and in dire need of a cleaning. Lack of proper ventilation in the bathroom. Room Steward was great and did the best with the hand he was dealt.

Ship tip

Find a newer ship. The staff for the most part are great, but the ship needs a major overhaul and refurbishment.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

5 out of 5
Embarkation port was great.

George Town, Grand Cayman

2 out of 5
Run and book an excursion. Not even worth walking around in.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
Loved this port, wish the weather had been better. Get to beach early or hope there isn't another ship in before you if you want a beach chair.

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
Only again book an excursion here. Little unsettling to see armed police/military all over the place.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Worst part was the Ferry ride to our excursion to the other side to Playa del Carmen. SO much begging on the ferry and pushing of alcohol. Bad ventilation, rough ride and people puking on the ferry everywhere.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
New crew member who go the Priority guest mixed up with the faster to the fun guests. Port is very user friendly though.

We were on the Miracle for 15 days. Never had a problem finding good food. The Buffet was good, pizza was excellent, deli was good. Everyone has there own taste.

We had the same ship and itinerary and absolutely loved it. Buffet food is always going to be buffet food. We found it edible. The deli and pizza were good. So was the salad bar.
