I was hesitant to cruise on Carnival (have only done NCL in the past). It exceeded my expectations and will definitely choose carnival again.

had 3 pools so plenty of chairs, did not feel crowded, not very many activities, only 1 water slide. Very laid back vibe, great for relaxing

this is an older ship, not very modern, and a little run down, but very clean and easy to navigate

cabin was very spacious for an interior room. The room had plenty of storage.
Ship tip
If you are looking for all the bells & whistles, this is not the ship for you. if you want a nice relaxing, good food, good service ship, you will have an excellent time.
Loved Cozumel. We went on our own to Channakaub State park. Excellent, clean, good snorkeling. it had plenty of chairs, shade, they have a free sea lion show and you could swim with dolphins for additional cost. There is a restaurant on site with waiters to serve you on the beach. They have a little hiking trail with replicas of the ruins, plants and an alligator. The park was very clean and close to the the cruise port.
