Review summary

1st time on Carnival and it exceeded our expectations. We were told that it’s a cheap cruise but it actually was a lot of fun. Very laid back. No complaints. I have cruised on 2 other more expensive brands and frankly, I like carnival better. The comedy shows won me over and the patrons were really down to earth and frankly don’t give a care about anything. Now that’s what a vacation is about!

Pool, putt putt, comedy shows, musicals, watching seniors sing karaoke (those seniors can sing!!), etc.

Loved the comedy shows. Most of the comedians were good, except for one. There were a lot of activities to choose from.

Very clean but the decors were bizarre. After 7 days, we still couldn’t figure out what the theme is supposed to be. Sorry, but that grape dining room is by far the ugliest room we have ever seen. The decors certainly gave us a lot to talk about. Haha!

Cabin / Stateroom

Clean, roomy. Love the balcony. Room only had ONE outlet. That’s a major problem when we all had phones, cameras n tablets. Would have given the room a 5 star if there were more outlets.

Ship tip

Gym equipments need major repair. Brace yourself if you want to work out in the gym. Just be patient. You will find a machine that works eventually. Bring a battery to charge your electronics bc rthere’s only one outlet in the room.
