Review summary

I was pleasantly surprised by the Carnival Miracle. I went into the cruise with low expectations, and was completely blown away by the staff, the ship, the philanthropy of Carnival, and how they handled things when they went wrong (like the tour guide not showing up). The food in the restaurant was amazing, and we had a one of a kind experience when we attended the Chef's table. The Miracle is one of the smaller ships with Carnival, and while I originally saw it as a downside, the reality is you have a 2/1 passenger to staff ratio. We are already looking in to our next Carnival cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Since we were suite guests, we were able to cut the line and checkin and embarkation was a breeze.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room and Chef's table were absolutely spectacular. The Lido deck buffet was meh.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The pools were a little grimey from all the sunscreen residue.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The comedy shows were hilarious. Bingo was stressful and not fun.

Service and Staff

Perfect location and view. Great size with LOTS of storage.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

Port amentities were great, unfortunately our excursion guide did not show up, but the Carnival staff were amazing and gave us a full refund and 50% off of another excursion.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
So many things to do in the port. We went to a private island and snorkled the reef, swam in the ocean, and had a great lunch by the private pool.

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
Port is bad, excursion to the Mayan ruins were cool, but not worth the 2.5 hour drive each way.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Unsure of port itself, as we were taken to the mainland and immediately boarded a bus to Tulum. I highly reccomend the VIP tour as ruins, ziplining, kayaking, snorkling and and the BEST lunch of the trip.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Crazy fast and easy for suite guests.

Thanks for a great review! I was feeling the same. We sail on her at the end of the month and had seen so many mixed reviews. This is our 3rd Carnival cruise and we've been so happy with the previous ones.
