Overall it was a very nice cruise. Will sail with carnival again.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarking on the cruise was a tad stressful as we could not do anything with our luggage for an hour and a half after we got onto the cruise ship. Other than that it was nice. We got lunch as soon as we got on the cruise ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining was very nice, very classy, and elegant. They had many different options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
We were a tad disappointed in the buffets because there would be times we wanted to eat before 6pm and we only had 2 options. When we did eat lunch/dinner at the buffets we would run into problems with our food being cold or not getting swapped out for fresh when it was much needed. I guess we just went at the wrong times.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The few activities we did do on the ship were nice! We played bingo one afternoon at sea. We had a lot of fun, but it was a bit difficult to know we payed $80 just to play 3 rounds of bingo. Needless to say we didn’t join in again for any other bingo nights. Our second activity was team based Yahtzee. It was great! We had a lot of fun. I never knew Yahtzee could be a team game until now.
We only got in the pool once later in the evening and it was very nice and relaxing.

Children's Programs
We didn’t have children with us on the cruise
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service we received from all the staff on the ship was amazing. I wish I could give them all 10 stars.

Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
When we first entered the room we were quite shocked at how small it was. Moving about the cabin was a struggle. Only one of us could be up doing anything at any given time and the other had to be sitting on the bed. The pictures online definitely didn’t depict how small the room really was.
On a positive note we did really enjoy our housekeeping crew. They were very sweet, kind, and just amazing people.
Ship tip
I would recommend not buying the bottomless bubbles package for sodas and just bring a 12 pack with you. It’s very inconvenient that the only place to get a soda is at the bar. We wasted our money for sure thinking it would be more available to us.
With this port our first excursion got canceled the night before. So when we got off the boat we walked around a bit and found a tour guide in port. We toured a turtle farm that was very interesting and fun.
Loved this port. We went to a private beach with open bar and lunch included. It was amazing outside all the vendors in the beginning after we arrived.
Again our excursion was canceled the evening before we entered port. Frustrating to say the least because this was the one excursion we had been looking forward to for months prior to the cruise. Most all the other excursions for this port were sold out so we were unable to book another excursion.
We got into port and we walked through all the vendors, visited a few of the bars, and did a bit of shopping.
Cozumel was our favorite port. Our excursion for this port was Mariachi, margaritas, and tacos. It was well worth it. We got to taste locally made tequilas, had some authentic tacos that were outstanding, and complimentary margaritas. Would recommended this excursion to everyone!
When getting off the ship it was a tad frustrating as we had to be out of the rooms by 8:30 and had to wait in the hallways or common areas until our deck numbers were called before getting off the ship. Thankfully it all went very quickly and smoothly once we were able to get off the ship.
