A great and memorable trip. We enjoyed the surroundings, the service, the shows and the food. Being onstage for our 50th for the "Love and Marriage" Show was great fun and we were recognized and congratulated by many people during the cruise. Frankie, the cruise director was very entertaining. Only complaint was the way the safety Briefing was conducted. More effort needs to be made to announce the "Mandatory" briefing earlier so the people who are there on time don't have to stand in the heat for over an hour while latecomers are waited for.

Food and Dining

The service was very good and the selections of foods available at the main dining room was very good.
The anniversary (50th) dinner at Nick and Nora's Steak house was very good. the food was good even if the lobster tails were rather small. Dessert was a work of art. I was a little disappointed in the choice of seating we were offered because of the importance of our event. We had made reservations before the cruise began and they were made aware it was our 50th. but we were only offered inside seating away from the windows and railings, (nothing special. Service was very good though.

Service and Staff

Jennifer, our room steward was terrific. All the personnel we came into contact with were friendly and very helpful. The Cruise Director, Frankie, was great.
Ship Quality

All areas including the food areas were kept very clean. The decks around the pool areas always seemed to be wet from being rinsed and mopped. This caused concern of being slippery. (deck cleaning should be scheduled later at night). The rest rooms in the common areas need to be maintained more often during busy times.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean and well maintained by the staff. Bed was comfortable, Shower was very nice. Wish we had robes provided though.
Ship tip
The "your time" dining option allows for changing plans and is convienient.
The skylift to the resort areas was easy and fun. Fat Tuesday's was an enjoyable break. People were very nice. Shopping options were good. learned about the Indigenous people at the landing area.
Carnival booked trip to Mayan Ruins was great. (should be in decent physical shape to really enjoy it) Bus ride allowed us to see the real Belize and the Boat ride on the lagoon was fun.
Due to time difference many places were not yet open when we got on shore. A trip not booked through Carnival was okay but caused us to worry about not getting back to the ship on time. (we only made it with less then 30 min. left). Stick to Carnival booked trips only.
The biggest issue for most ships is the safety drill however passengers do not make it any easier by taking there time to get to the drill and some are extremely rude about attending makes it uncomfortable for the rest who do the right thing ....
