Review summary

We were first-time cruisers and enjoyed the Carnival Miracle immensely. Our state room was lovely and we only wish that we could spend more time at sea crusin’!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We boarded later, 1:30 pm and walked through every part of embarkation with zero line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate most of our meals in the main dining room. We had excellent wait staff, especially Lidia, who was always smiling no matter the time of day. Some difficulty keeping salad greens available on he salad bar due to the high demand. Would have like a few more off hours options besides pizza and ice cream.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We played bingo and trivia and went to the comedy and music shows. The Red Frog band was great, Tommy the bingo host, fun & entertaining and Leigh and Oscar were wonderful MCs. My only suggestion is that there are more games to play during bingo with more moderate prizes. With the number of people in the bingo activity, Carnival was making plenty of money. It would be great to have a few more games with prizes of $100-$150, instead of only three games per session. We throughly enjoyed the spa. We had two massage treatments with Lillian, who was wonderful.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedy, and the Clue game. We also enjoyed the red frog band and sports trivia.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward, Edgurdo and his staff, were always personable and helped us many times. We had some trouble with the safe in our room and he was always there to assist us in getting the right help we needed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes, our ship was immaculate!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect size for us, the balcony was outstanding and the shower was very good for an onboard shower. Unfortunately, it seemed that every night the AC was off between 0300- 0600am; the room became quite stuffy. The storage was more than adequate and we were pleasantly suprised about that.

Ship tip

Use the main dining room for breakfast and dinner,it was great. Also, the Chef’s Table was a wonderful experience and well worth the addition charge! The Chef’s table was a once in a foodie’s lifetime experience!

Disembarkation

A little slower than on boarding, but use of the porters to get through customs is a MUST unless you like to wait in lines.
