Review summary

My group and I have decided this is our last one for a long time. It was not something to write home about. We will find family vacations at locations we simply fly to and stay for several days. Very dissatisfied with this whole experience this time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Main dining was wonderful, the staff, especially Saw and Igussi, were fabulous! Buffets were ok, not open when we were looking for a bite to eat between meals.

Bacchus Dining Room

Our services were wonderful!! Saw and Igussi were our waiters and they were fantastic, attentive, friendly, fun and fast

Onboard Activities

The hot tubs were barely open, the pools alternated being open, not much entertainment during the day. The comedy club was fun, the stage show was good too, the most entertaining thing was Mary Rose in the pixels department. She made us laugh many times a day to the point we found ourselves being there more than anywhere.

The people at Pixels made our trip so much fun! Mary Rose was the best part of the trip... the others were great as well, they truly loved making everyone smile!! We spent most of our trip I this area just to see the staff. They all nicknamed my son "justin bieber" and made him feel on top of the world!

Spa Carnival

I wish I could remember the name of the masseuse who took care of me.. she was amazing! Best massage I have ever had, and best spent money on this entire trip. I wish I could have stayed there for ever!!

Entertainment

The stage show was good, the bands were good as well, wish the calypso band played more, only saw on stage for a few minutes a cpl of days

Children's Programs

Did not have a child that attended

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The staff was wonderful as always, they work many long hours in different area of the ship daily to be sure everyone gets well cared for.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything was clean always. The layout is basically standard on all ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

Well the bed was uncomfortable, we had a king and a bunk. The king had a soft side and a hard side, the bunk, well that is what it is.

Ship tip

Expect to entertain yourself bring a deck of cards or dominoes or a book your dying to finish. You will have plenty of time to do these things

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

We boarded here. We stayed at the Sheridan at Riveredge the night before sailing. It was a bad choice even for the night.

Cozumel, Mexico

My 4th visit to this port. No excursion this trip. We did however rent a buggy and drive the cost. Beautiful way to see the island in your own way.

Belize City, Belize

I was disappointed. I expected more of a lush, green rainforest type environment. This was not the case. Very flat, and uninviting. We did the Belize rafting and ziplining excursions. Our tour guide Andy made the our day! Very smart, very interactive, well trained and just plain FUN! I would recommend this excursion to everyone

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

The landscape was beautiful, the port area was clean and inviting, but once you have seen 1 shop, you have seen them all. We did the Boss Underwater bike excursion... this was terrifying. A storm moved in on our way out to the location, 60% of the people ended up sea sick. Snorkeling is one of my favorite things on the different island I have been to(my 5th cruise) this one however was not great. We were in a spot with not much wild life by the time the storm passed. As for the underwater bike, I would NOT recommend this to anyone with the slightest of clausterfobia or breathing issues such as asthmatics. Or even someone who has no experience with tank diving. I last all of 3 mins on this thing before I could not catch my breath and had to exit. The staff in board was not very friendly, beside the camera man and 1 dive instructor out of the 8 ppl on this trip. Plus they focused more on getting pictures under water than they did the actual dive.my 15 yr old had an incident with the strap to his life vest getting caught in the propeller of the bike and the staff ignored his plea for help for more than several mins. I was beyond upset that we paid so much money for this excursion in total there we 7 of us in my group, only 2 lasted on the bike for more than 10 of the 30 min dive. Terrible waste of money and time.

George Town, Grand Cayman

The port was smaller than most, but right outside of it there is shopping for miles! We did not book an excursion here either instead walked the shops(again once you've seen 1, you have seen them all) we then took an over priced taxi to 7 mile beach, tried to sit on a lounge chair long enough to remove my sneakers and was told I needed to pay $5 for the chair.. we then walked the beach, played in the gorgeous waters and found an unoccupied place in the beach with no charge to relax awhile.

Disembarkation

Could have been smoother, but we made our flight home, that's all that matters
