Carnival has cruising figured out! We were quickly and efficiently boarded and every day afterward was handled just as well. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. The shore excursions were wonderful and reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed nearly everything! The steaks were especially good. It was fun to try things we'd never had before. One morning we waited an hour to be served in the dining room, so we ate breakfast on the Lido deck after that.

We enjoyed the PG rated comedy club routines, and most of the music acts. The violinists and piano player were excellent.

Our room was fabulous and we loved the space and couch.
The balcony was wonderful and we spent quite a bit of time there. Only drawback? We were directly under the Lido deck stage and had some noise spillage. Also a lot of chairs moving around. (Didn't bother us much after the first day or so.)
Ship tip
Pay attention to which side of the ship is going to be in the sun the most when booking. Our balcony was too hot to use when it was sunny on that side of the ship.
It rained in the morning and we got to experience a real tropical downpour. We were drenched! It cleared up later, though, and we had a wonderful time kayaking, snorkeling, and relaxing on the beach. We loved the sky tram.
There wasn't much to the actual port itself, but our shore excursion to the stingrays was awesome! Prices were higher here, do your shopping in Mexico if you can.
