Review summary

Overall it was the best week of my life. Our server Eugene from Ukraine in the Bacchus dining room was amazing. Our only complaint was the soda package. Does not come with a special cup like other cruise lines- and we had to visit a bar each time we needed a refill. Which meant going, waiting in line, signing receipts and adding a tip-not really a big deal but not as convenient as having a Soda machine available to fill for myself. I also didn't know I could bring my own soda in cans- so next time I'll save the 120.00 and bring our own since we don't drink THAT much.

I'm giving this a 4 because there were restaurants advertised for this ship that were not actually here. The buffet was repetitive but the food IS good.

Mad Hatter's Ball Lounge

This was where the comedy club was- GREAT Acts we loved everyone- however the décor in here is a trip. Very weird.

Bacchus Dining Room

We only had one night in the Bacchus that we didn't appreciate. For some reason we were sat in the back section- the vibration from the boat made me ill. All other nights we had great service even if we got seated in various sections.

Onboard Activities

Besides the Water slide theres no real extras! However- I felt like the experience we wanted is what we found to do. We wanted a kid free vacation and I honestly didn't even realize there were family events or kids on board- but head another family say they were amazed at the number of family events they participated in. They did a great job providing for the experience each group wanted.

Mr. Lucky's Casino

We actually do enjoy casino's normally- however- this one was very heavy with smokers. There was a section on the map that was smoke free but I honestly couldn't breath each time we just walked through- which we had to do to get to any of the shows or shops. We started going an extra long way around to avoid this all together.

Sirens Forward Pool

The privacy pods were amazing- but you have to get one early- and then we felt like we were held hostage in ours because every time I stood up someone tried to take it. I think they need to add more- and come up with a way to give everyone a chance- like 4 hour rental periods or something even if it's free. There should be some sort of control.

Spa Carnival

Enjoyed a mini facial- it was awesome. The entire Spa is GORGEOUS- and FYI there's a huge hot tub/spa in there that is beautiful and much better then the ones on the pool decks

I'm giving this a 4 because the cleanliness was great but the decor was freaking weird! We couldn't figure it out. Parts of the ship were old Hollywood that we've never even heard of, then other parts were part of Alice and Wonderlands bad trip. Very dated.

Take a watch. Never knowing what time it really was is annoying. The phones kept changing based on satellite- The soda package is difficult compared to other cruise lines.

Our excursion with Fury was cancelled last minute. So we ended up doing the All Inclusive Passion Island by Power Catamaran more than made up for it! We had a FANTASTIC time on this excursion. It was beautiful! Miguel and Edwin were amazing tour guides. Very funny. The island is beyond words amazing. I did not want to leave.

Belize City, Belize

You have to book an excursion for Belize. We did not- and there was literally NOTHING else to do. The market is very uncomfortable compared to the others and all the activities were 15 minutes away. Next time I'll book something.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Absolutely most amazing trip! We did the Pirates Birds and Monkeys excursion. It's an hour drive to it- through some very interesting areas to see the life of Roatan. The Pirates part is currently closed so that was diappointing but the Monkeys more than made up for it! Definitely book this excursion through the cruise line though because their timing for return is horrible. We made it back on the ship with 1 minute to spare.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We had an excursion pre booked- we had a blast with the Coral Garden Reef and Stingy Ray Sandbar. We used the Emerald Eyes crew and they were phenomenal! My only disappointment is the location was on the north sound where the water is clear but not the gorgeous blue that I wanted to experience. The water near port was gorgeous and we found out the beach was with in walking distance.

We had the drink package for our son and we brought 20oz thermal cups for the 3 of us to use. The bar had no problem filling his with coke and we used ours for tea/lemonade mixture from the Lido deck. Worked great for us.

I suspect the reason they don’t give everyone their own cup is to avoid contamination of the soda machines by cups that people have already had their hands and lips on. Unfortunately, not everybody uses common sense when using these machines in common areas. I’ve had this package on my two cruises and never had to wait long for a drink.
