Review summary

This cruise was okay, definitely not what I am used to when sailing carnival. This cruise was our honeymoon and I'm a little disappointed. When we booked with they told us there would be something special in our room in the first sea day for our honeymoon, nothing was done the whole trip. We even asked guest services on board and they told us we had to go buy a gift that they do random people and we were not going to be one. We didn't see our stewardist for the first few days and our room didn't get cleaned quite a few times. They also acted as if we were putting them out when we saw them, which isn't fair since there is a mandatory gratuity given to them. The food was very mediocre compared to most ships. The only selection for lunch was Asian and American and very lukewarm. The staff in the dining room was exquisite!

Food and Dining

Not like the carnivals I've said on before. There was absolutely no selection for lunch, the same exact thing every day and it was never hot.

Service and Staff

The dining staff was awesome!!! The housekeeping, not so much. We went the first few days without meeting our stewarding and without them cleaning our room. We also asked for towels since we had none and it took over an hour with 3 phone calls.
