Review summary

The cruise was amazing.  We had so much fun, it didn't matter what part of the ship we were on.  The food was an edible extravaganza regardless of the time of day.  It was a fiesta on board and on land.  Carnival Miracle made the entire cruise effortless from beginning to end.  We are ready to cruise again and again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was delicious. The buffet always had a large variety of choices. The dining room served food comparable to a high end restaurant.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The daily events calendar was helpful in planning the day. So many activities to participate in from fitness classes to seminars, spas to shopping. We were able to participate in so many activities because same event was given at a different time or day. The Activities Director has done an exceptional job of planning activities for the ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was spectacular. All the shows we saw in the Phantom Theater and Mad Hatter were lively, humorous, and memorable (Veterans Appreciation). The DJ's played music to attract all ages to listen and dance to regardless of the venue--poolside, nightclub, bar.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiters, Hakan, Ferhat, and Atesh were the best. They always served us by name and made each one of our party of 14 feel special. They were exceptional, efficient, as well as humorous. They made our dining experience joyful. The employees working in Horatio's Restaurant were kind, considerate, and always looked happy to do their job--always a smile. Where do I include a comment about the Cruise Director, Adam? He was upbeat, always making sure we were informed about events, yet kind and caring when an emergency occurred. Carnival's HR has done an excellent job of selecting employees who contribute to the success of the cruise line.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were so impressed to see the ship constantly being cleaned, inside as well as outside. Our cabin was kept clean and everyday it was a joy to come in our room to find a different towel character. The most impressive was one early morning we saw a steward with his clipboard and flashlight in hand inspecting the ship's cleanliness in one of the kitchens. The design of the ship made it easily accessible to get from one end of the ship to the other. Except for the last day, the Captain and crew did an excellent job of keeping the ship sailing smoothly.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were impressed with the size of the cabin. It was comfortable and well lit. It provided the comforts of home. Having a safe was convenient. The bathroom was roomy and the vanity was large enough for all our toiletries. The three closets were ample. We always had a restful nights sleep. When we did spend time in our cabin, it was relaxing having a place to sit. A side Note: we were able to watch the NBA Finals with the Warriors and Cleveland which made the evenings more enjoyable. Yea!
